Each of our teachers have chosen to be a teacher first, which means they are committed to the development of their students and being in their classes on a regular basis. They are not currently performers or auditioning or travelling, they are dedicated to being in their classes to provide consistency for dancers to flourish.

Our exceptional, new facility is light and bright and there is plenty of room in our spacious lobby for families to watch their student. Dedicated teachers help to create the consistency that brings incredible results. We are experts in teaching dance technique and value performance opportunities, but believe that overall physical and mental wellness are equally as key in the development of children. It is our goal to include students rather than exclude, in an environment where all students can feel special, important, and respected.

Academy 831 instructors share their love for the art of dance while encouraging your child to learn dance and movement. Our curriculum builds a solid foundation of proper dance technique and helps to prevent injuries from incorrect repetitive movement. Our proven curriculum for our youngest dancers sets a solid foundation for strong, technical dancers as they grow. We are a proud Leap N Learn studio which means instructors that work with our youngest dancers have completed a teacher training program specifically for dance teachers working with children ages 7 and under. This gives our teachers the tools to help each child succeed to their fullest potential. Our teachers don’t just love dance, they have been taught HOW to teach what they love.

We believe in the importance of loving and respecting others through our words and actions. As a part of the Academy 831 family, we show respect to our students in the way we interact with them. We also require that our students respect our teachers both in and outside the class room.
